Periprosthetic Plates

Specialized plates for fractures occurring around existing prosthetic implants, designed to manage the unique challenges of periprosthetic fractures.

Trochanteric Periprosthetic Plate System

7.0ChLP

The 7.0ChLP Trochanteric Periprosthetic Plate System is designed for the fixation of periprosthetic fractures of the proximal femur, trochanteric osteotomies, and trochanteric fractures. The system includes anatomically contoured plates for left and right sides, available in short and long epiphyseal versions. Plates are made of blue anodized titanium, compatible with 7.0ChLP self-tapping screws (Ø5.0 mm) and cortical screws (Ø4.5 mm). The system also features K-wire holes for temporary fixation, hooks for greater trochanter stabilization, and transverse holes for cable fixation. A dedicated instrument set is available for guided implantation.

Key Components:

7.0ChLP Trochanteric Periprosthetic Plates (left/right, short/long epiphysis)
7.0ChLP Self-Tapping Screws Ø5.0 mm (Lengths: 16–110 mm)
Cortical Self-Tapping Screws Ø4.5 mm (Lengths: 16–110 mm)
K-Wires for Temporary Fixation (Ø2.0/210)
Instrument Set for 7.0ChLP Trochanteric Plates (Codes: 15.0207.201 / 15.0207.202)

Cable with Clamp System

The Cable with Clamp System is designed for the stabilization of periprosthetic and long bone fractures. It features a 2.0 mm titanium wire integrated with a cobalt alloy clamp, ensuring secure fixation and optimal tensioning. The system includes a screw locking mechanism, a cutting system that hides the cable ends within the clamp to minimize soft tissue irritation, and an ergonomic, intuitive instrument set for precise implantation.

This system allows for guided cable insertion, re-tensioning, and locking with a torque-limiting ratchet handle. It can be used independently or in combination with bone plates via cerclage holes.

System components:

Cable with Clamp – 2.0 x 600 mm (Ref: 4.5250.600S)
Dedicated Instrument Set for Cable with Clamp (Code: 15.0506.101)
Tensioner, Guides, Handle, Cutting Pliers, and Auxiliary Tools
